THXVILLE

The THX Ville Festival in Boom, Belgium, which lasts several days, is a way for companies to thank their employees - a platform for a summer cross-company celebration for staff and their families, with a total of 25,000 visitors. The festival site in the Belgian town of Boom is normally known for the world famous Tomorrowland festival and was also a great setting for THX Ville. Throughout the festival grounds, the organizers created a wide range of activities for young and old, including music performances by various bands and dance groups, food trucks and exciting rides.

As a special highlight for the festival visitors, our team was allowed to install a temporary floating fountain system in one of the lakes of the beautiful event area. After weeks of planning by our project planners, a 60 m wide floating construction was placed in the lake with heavy equipment, which served as the basic structure for all elements of the water show. Many different water effects were integrated, bringing the show, which was pre-programmed and visualized in our showroom, to life. Water fountains with LED lighting, laser beams from a distance of 200 m and the 40 m high fountain together with emotional music created a varied show that not only amazed our young viewers but even made them dance!

For the festival visitors the show was a great conclusion of the otherwise also very special day and provided for lasting memories of the THX Ville Festival in Boom.
