Opera House Fountain, Kuwait

This large and multifaceted multimedia fountain right next to the Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Cultural Centre was designed by Watercube from Italy and built to the highest technical standards in just three months. A timeless design combined with the latest technology from suppliers such as Oase Living Water make the fountain a real jewel in the Orient! We were commissioned by Watercube to design more than 25 different multimedia shows including video content, laser and of course fountain programming to western classics as well as to Arabic songs.

Thanks to its large number of moving fountains, compressed air driven shooters, countless LED lamps, an impressive water mist system, flame effects and the water screens equipped with laser and video projectors, it was a pleasure for our programmers to bring this complex fountain system to life.

As this fixed installation is also controlled by a server of the proven multimedia software Syncronorm Depence, we were able to visualize the fountain with all components in 3D and prepare all shows in our studio. In combination with the knowledge of the system and its special features, which our team gathered on site, the shows could be prepared to the tenth of a second. Due to the experience how high a fountain group can be used without spraying too much water or how much delay there is in certain components of the system, adjustment time for the system itself was reduced to a minimum. Thus, shortly after the completion of the system, a large selection of varied day and night shows could be presented to the enthusiastic audience.
